المحسود لا يعلم ما يُدبَّر لهُ من الحسد والسحر، لذلك يعيش حياته بشكل طبيعي ولا يشعُر بأثر ذلك عليه، يصلي ويقرأ القرآن بل لا يشعر بأي فتور أو نفور في العبادات.
ولكن حين يُعرَض عليه عمل أو زواج أو سفَر أو باب رزق تجده ينتكس فجأة بحالته الصحية ويشعر بتعب غريب ومفاجئ، ويضيقُ صدره ويزهد في كل ما هو خيرًا له ويتحاشاه.
